Item Description
Two of the 4 rings in this lot are all plastic and inspired by King Kong. One is pink plastic with adjustable bands done as a figural gorilla face with deeply recessed eyes. Second is on deep pink plastic band with pair of prongs on top to which mounts a full figure black plastic gorilla with red mouth accent. Both of these rings are c. 1970s. Also from the late 60s or 1970s is putty-colored all plastic ring with expansion bands. Top is an oval featuring a bandaged-covered face with just tiny eyes, nose and mouth accents showing. Third piece in the group is heavy brass luster with adjustable band featuring highly detailed and high relief portrait on top of “Cousin Eerie,” the symbolic character from Warren Publishing Co., publishers of Eerie Comics. Underside has their 1969 copyright and this piece is Mint.
