Item Description
7/8” with backpaper by Phila. Badge. The earliest movie club buttons were issued early in 1930 with a non-studio approved Mickey image. This was quickly revised to the Studio-approved design of Mickey with hand on hip and waving with other hand. While this button does not specify a movie theater, it was likely used as a theater club button. Beneath his feet is the very earliest form of the copyright notice reading “Copy. 1928-1930/By W.E. Disney.” Superb example of a rare button. Essentially Mint. See following related item.
