Item Description
5.5x7.75x2.75” deep empty box. 1954. Box text includes “Full Color Picture Card And Bubblegum/120 Count.” Lid features image of streaking missile. Side panels of both lid and box bottom feature matching illustrations which include aircraft carrier, tank, PT boat and “One-Eyed Photographic Giant” as seen on card #4 but altered incorrectly on this box showing gun blast at end of camera. The cards in this set featured images of the most modern weaponry available to America’s Armed Forces as of 1954. Lid has moderate scattered aging, 2 corner splits. Faint trace of moisture staining along left side. Box bottom has a few lt. creases on blank underside panel. Sides remain tight, bright and glossy. Box bottom VF. A rare display box further enhanced by the fact that art appears on both box top and bottom.
