This button features same photo and inscription as the previous item but this button is 1.5” rather than 1.75” and bkg. is cream rather than gray. No backpaper or maker’s name. Reverse has 3 small indents on the collet and left side of the button has been slightly flattened but not at all detectable from the front which displays totally clean and glossy. There is exceedingly light general surface wear but only showing a trifle in reflected light. This button has been in the Hake Collection for decades and is the only example we’ve seen.
