The first Mickey watch was issued in 1933. This is version from the Fall of 1935 and while close to the 1933 version, this dial is slightly different. Most notably, the number “5” appears below Mickey’s knee rather than above and this is the first version to feature “Made In U.S.A.” on the dial. Variety with leather band that has pair of metal Mickey attachments. 1.25” dial includes second hand disc featuring 3 small Mickey images. Comes in box illustrated by multiple character images, has insert and additional Mickey image on inside of lid. Also comes with guarantee paper. Outside of box has moderate aging and scattered edge wear with color rubs. Box bottom has 1 corner split. Inside of lid has penciled name and some color rubs. Box, insert and paper are VG. Band shows wear from use. One of the Mickey attachments has a couple of tiny dots of luster off, however most luster remains as well as much of the black accent paint. Dial is clean, case has bright luster. Overwound. Band – VG, all else – VF/Exc.
