Auction #200 - Part II
Item numbers 1187 through 2776 in auction 200
Item Description
.75” silvered brass lapel stud with threaded post and screw cap on the reverse. This version was intended for boys while a version with a pin on the back was intended for girls. The premium was issued in the 1930s by Street & Smith, publishers of The Shadow pulp magazine. Front is missing silver luster from the rim and edges surrounding the recessed image of The Shadow in hat and cape. His image retains the silver luster so actually the combination of brass and silver tones presents most attractively. Scarce and Fine.
