Item Description
1.25” with W&H backpaper used only 1900-1912. Titled “Brothers Club” and among the very earliest buttons we’ve seen that use the “club” concept. This beautiful sepia real photo button without dot pattern shows 2 young boys. Boy on right is in sailor-style suit while boy on left is seated on a hobby horse whose head appears at the bottom center of the button. Tiny surface paper dot off the backpaper but o/w Exc. and displays Mint. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Children’s Clubs section #99. Comes with Hake’s COA. Only example we’ve seen.
