4.5” long nicely illustrated cardboard box contains watch with 1.25” dia. chromed metal case and version with leather band. Features same illustration on lid and inside lid of Practical Pig building his brick house with inset image of The Big Bad Wolf. Rest of box is red brick design. This same box was used for the Pigs pocket watch but is marked at lower right corner of lid “Pocket $1.50” whereas this is designated “Wrist $2.95.” The red brick insert that holds the watch is a replacement, all else is original and as issued. Includes guarantee paper. Box has obvious wear including slight fade to 2 side panels, lid has some moisture staining and a 2” vertical crease just right of center. However, hinged lid remains firmly intact. Corners are tight. VG. Dial features side portrait of the Wolf at center and above him are the Three Little Pigs. Band has a pair of metal attachments in silver luster and black accent paint, one is side portrait of the Wolf, the other is of the Three Pigs. Both have small traces of luster wear but much luster remains as well as nearly all of the accent paint. Band shows lt. wear from use. Fine. Small trace of luster wear to case but near full luster remains. Dial is exceptionally bright and clean with deep, rich color including the red bkg. Watch itself is running and overall still Exc. One of the rarest and most sought after Disney timepieces, very rare as boxed and in fact the first boxed example with leather band that we’ve offered in our 44 years.
