Item Description
Both are painted composition. c. 1938. Matador figure is 6” tall. Great image of this character for which relatively little merchandise was produced. Some scattered crazing, most minor and typical, few tiny paint flakes. Appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Still a VF example of this scarce figure. 5” tall Ferdinand is a bank and complete with trap on underside but missing generic key. Originally held a fabric flower in one hand but this is missing. Ferdinand’s name appears on his stomach. Just the tiniest trace of wear, an exceptional example. Exc. The last time we offered this pair it sold for $784.
