Item Description
Identical to the figurines produced by American Pottery/Shaw (see previous item #2176) although each of these is in smaller size, 4” to 4.5” tall. Also painted and glazed ceramic with red over-the-glaze paint accents on Joe Carioca and Panchito. Also 1940s, each has incised text on backs of “Mexico” and Disney copyright, similar ink stamp marks on underside. Typical light hairline crazing visible only upon close inspection. All remain bright and glossy. Exc. Scarce variety set.
