Item Description
9” tall painted and glazed ceramic designed as Ludwig’s head. Top of mortarboard has incised text “Pro Ludwig Von Drake.” Back of head has 1961 Disney copyright. Made by American Bisque. Red felt tongue accent piece inside of mouth. Underside has some aging to craze lines. Outside has just normal and typical lt. crazing only visible when viewed closely. Appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Rare and listed in the cookie jar book by Moran at $1,500+. Extremely conservative opening bid based on that value.
