Large and exceptionally nice 8x9x13.5” tall figural cookie jar c. 1951. Fantastic image of a startled Alice with her arms raised and mouth open, around her feet at base are mushrooms. There is a 1.25” long hairline running vertically on front top edge of skirt toward the left side. This blends with simulated fold line of her dress so really only visible when viewed closely. O/w retains a bright and glossy appearance. Still displays Exc. Only the fifth we’ve been able to offer in our 44 years and the last 2 examples we sold both exceeded $1,100.
