Item Description
Lot of two, both exclusive to Tokyo Disneyland. 1990s. First is scene in a bottle novelty. Glass bottle is 10” long and comes with painted wood base. Piece has total height of 5”. Inside of bottle, done in resin, is detailed figural scene based on the croquet scene and characters include Alice with flamingo as a mallet next to the Queen of Hearts with Cheshire cat under her arm and King of Hearts by her side. Around these figures are White Rabbit and Card Soldiers, 2 depicted painting white roses red. Base has metal name plaque with additional card images. As bottle has open end, there is some aging to interior surface but really only shows when viewed closely and o/w piece is N. Mint. Second item is 5” tall glass/porcelain music box depicting Alice in a jar which floats in the water, waves are shown around this plus base has raised images of sea life including Baby Oysters. Works and plays a song from the film, as Alice rotates. N. Mint. Both have great design. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
