Item Description
Marx produced a number of different Davy/Alamo playsets, this is #3539 c. 1955. Moderate box wear/aging but still tight and displays Fine. Near complete set we believe just missing 5 of 10 shells for the cannon, 2 powder kegs and 2 of 6 horses. All character figures are here including Davy, 10 Mexicans and 20 pioneers. The original bags remain and hold the figures and accessory pieces. All of these pieces remain Exc. Tin litho pieces include chapel with top piece which has been assembled. These pieces show scattered light wear, VF. Four papers are included: Instruction sheet (aged with 2" margin tear, VG), 8x10" photo of Fess as Davy (aged with wrinkles as boxed, VG), Davy/Alamo story folder (clean and VF), Disneyland contest sheet (aged, VG).
