12.25x12.25”. 1960. Hi-Fi sound. Verve Records. Saul is credited with pioneering a style of stand-up comedy that paved the way for Lenny Bruce, Nichols and May and Dick Gregory. He also occasionally wrote jokes for speeches delivered by President John F. Kennedy. Back of album shows Saul with Harry Truman, Adlai Stevenson and Henry Cabot Lodge. Recorded at Mr. Kelly’s, Chicago. Lt. handling rubs overall. Clear tape reinforcement on top edge and bottom right corner. Original price sticker in upper left corner. Record is N. Mint
