Item Description
4.25x7.25” group of 31 four-page brochures each numbered and dated between Nov. 13, 1938 through Nov. 19, 1939. Each cover carries subject title plus name of author W.J. Cameron who was editor of the Ford-owned Dearborn Independent weekly newspaper and Henry Ford’s chief propagandist, often with an anti-Semitism theme during the 1920s. These booklets are print versions of “A Talk Given On The Ford Sunday Evening Hour.” Twenty-four are from the (5th) 1938-39 season and seven are from the (6th) 1939-40 season. Each cover also bears name of “Ford Motor Company/Dearborn, Michigan.” Subjects include American business and economic issues, free enterprise, troubles in Europe, security, democracy and more.
