Item Description
5x8x16.5" tall to the tips of his ears. Toy has built-in key and stitched to the shirt is fabric ribbon which serves as his belt and reads "Oswald/Copyrighted Universal Picture Corp." Has velveteen face while rest of fabric-covered body is cloth and felt. Has leatherette shoes w/strings. Inner body has cardboard covering around the windup mechanism. Toy works and when wound, rocks back and forth as it slowly moves itself forward. Cardboard shoe soles show some scattered wear but remain intact. Both arms have small stitched repair where they join the upper body. Doll has overall lt. aging, st. fade to one inner ear but rest of orange color remains strong, usually found quite faded. Overall appearance remains quite nice for this rare and somewhat fragile windup toy. Appearance remains VF. Only the second we've offered in many years and our last example was in much lesser condition.
