Item Description
These bracelets, popular in the early 1970s, originated from an idea sparked by Kay Hunter and Carol Bates Brown. The organization that distributed them was a Los Angeles-based student organization named Voices In Vital America. Bob Hope and Martha Raye served with Brown as honorary co-chairman. VIVA ended in 1976. Each bracelet bears a soldier’s name and the date he went missing. These are all stainless steel. Minor bends from actual use. Years are 1965, 1967 (2), 1971, 1972. All are stainless steel and Exc. The tin license is 6x12”. Minor paint wear. From early 1970s. VF. See preceding related lot.
