Auction #183 - Part II
Item numbers 1292-2528 in auction 183
Item Description
4.25x4.5x9" tall painted composition w/movable head and arms. From 1936 and Knickerbocker also made a matching Donald cowboy doll. Has the original suede-like material double holster belt w/metal accent rivets. Comes w/pair of near-identical 2" long metal guns, one appears to be original, the other an apparent replacement w/tiny loop broken off top as it was a charm. When in place in the holster, this is not noticeable and they appear to be a matched pair. Doll is missing a cowboy hat and chaps. Has overall professional restoration as most surviving examples suffer from extensive surface crazing. Appearance is now Exc. Great compo doll. From the Hake collection.
