Item Description
7.25” dia. c. 1880s. Brownhills Pottery Co. of Staffordshire. One of several scenes by this firm based on the Daniel Defoe novel published in 1719. This pictures “Crusoe Viewing The Island.” Gorgeous colors, no stains or chips and only 2 trivial and typical tiny raised bumps in the glaze. Reverse marked “RD. No. 69963-B.P. Co.” Rarely found this clean.
