11x15.25x2” deep box contains 8.5x13.25x1” deep hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain relief sculpture created by William Paquet. ©1997 DC Comics. Paquet recreates the cover to “Action Comics #1,” the Jun., 1938 comic book which introduced Superman to the world. Limited edition of 800 pieces, this is #693/800. Sculpture was originally issued at $99. Box shows wear with creases to lid and partial corners split. VG/Fine with N. Mint contents.
