30x40” thin paper poster for 1930s English theater production of “Mother Goose” fairy tales. Poster features image of a more modern-looking (though down on her luck) Mother Goose as her gloves have the fingertips worn through. Amazed looking boy looks at gleaming golden egg at bottom center as clothed goose looks on from left corner. Taylors Printers of Wombwell, Yorkshire. Poster has 3 vertical creases as rolled and if framed, would display Exc.
