This 1930s superbly illustrated folder was issued to promote extensive line of store display items produced by both Old King Cole and W. L. Stensgaard & Associates Inc. Folded size is 8.75x11.75". At top left corner of front cover is image of Mickey holding a paint brush. Text includes "Best Known/Most Loved Movie Idols In The World Mickey Mouse And His Pals Now For The First Time Complete-Outstanding-Dramatic Christmas Decorations At Low Popular Prices." Additional text notes and promotes the collaborative offerings by these two companies. Old King Cole produced fabulous sculptured displays while Stensgaard produced paper decorations for store windows and interiors. Folder opens once and features the title "Pack The House With Mickey Mouse" followed by text regarding use of these promotional products. Repeated in larger size at bottom center is the image of Mickey w/paint brush looking at a mural. Folder opens a second time and features promotional text and images for Old King Cole. The four types of items which are described include star plaques which were 36" dia., animated Disney figures w/average height of 40", realistic reproductions w/height of 40" and Toyland directional markers which were 34" high by 72" wide. Border design includes examples of these items including six different star plaques of Mickey, Minnie, Horace, Donald, The Goof and Santa Claus. Two of the larger multi-character displays are shown at the bottom. Folder opens one final time to size of 23.5x34". This promotes the Stensgaard products w/title at top "Comura Commerical Murals In Oil Colors On Heavy Stock/Used Like Wallpaper Anywhere." At left are six different example images of posters, signs and banners along w/detailed descriptive text including sizes w/largest being 44x90". Images on the right half show murals in place throughout stores in conjunction w/Old King Cole displays. Back cover features illustration of Mickey and Minnie on stage holding sign reading "This Exclusive Service Authorized By Walt Disney Enterprises Creators Of Mickey Mouse Features." Front cover has st. aging, a few minor fingerprint smudges. Overall folder remains exceptionally bright and clean w/vibrant color. VF to Exc. This folder is rare and the first we've seen.
