Item Description
7x10x9.75" tall original box remains sealed by tape strip as issued and contains "No. 135 Melody Player" by J. Chein & Co., 1950s. While the example we are selling is sealed in the box, we have included two example photos of an unboxed toy in order for you to see the item's great graphics. The all tin litho toy has an attached crank and hinged lid which opens to reveal the paper music roll and operating mechanism. Inside of lid includes illustrations of Mickey and Donald holding instructions for loading of the music rolls used w/this toy. Toy is designed to produce musical sounds by the inner bellows blowing air through the music roll which in turn produces an accordion-like sound. Outside is very nicely illustrated on all sides including Mickey jazz band on the top, sides depict many different characters playing instruments including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Dumbo and Three Little Pigs. The cardboard box includes image of the toy on front and back panels. Box has bit of dust soiling but Exc. w/Mint toy. Again, for catalogue purposes only we show the toy itself but the example we are selling is sealed in the box.
