2.25" litho. Attached to left side of button by metal tabs is a bw lithographed elephant whose body can be pulled up and down by moving a small black thread attached at his tusk. This movement provides the effect of the elephant kicking the donkey in the rear end. Small brown stain on elephant's trunk, ear edge, over lower half of rear leg. Blue bkg. has ft. trace of tan at top, bottom and right extreme edge. Overall Fine as most of these were discovered smoke damaged after a Chicago fire years ago. Reverse of this one is darkened but readable. Front is much nicer than most examples. The GOP version is about five times scarcer than the Democratic version. Fine.
