Item Description
5.5" dia. base by 7.5" tall glazed ceramic w/over-the-glaze paint accents. c. late 1940s. Depicts a candle holder w/simulated candlestick, complete w/"flame" bulb. Standing atop the candle holder w/one arm around the candle is Donald Duck, his name appears in raised lettering on front of base. Underside is missing the felt covering. Works. Top back edge of Donald's collar has 1/8" dia. surface flake. Over-the-glaze paint has only tiny traces of wear, remains 98% complete. Night light remains totally bright and glossy. Appearance is Exc. From the Hake collection.
