Item Description
5 spoons. Three are 4.25” long with image of Christopher Columbus at top of handle and name “World’s Fair” on time, two have different images of Administration Building, third has image of Art Building. Fourth spoon is 5-7/8” long and highly detailed with full figure image of Christopher Columbus at top of handle holding an anchor. Bowl has text caption “Genova.” Fifth spoon is 6” long, sterling silver, highly detailed with Queen Victoria crown at top of handle along with images of Administration Building and Santa Maria sailing ship. Bowl has image titled “1492” with design of Columbus planting flag with crowd looking on. Underside of tine has text “World’s Columbian Exposition” with image of globe at top. Spoons have trace of lt. wear. Overall VF with wonderful designs. Metal boot is 3” long, 2.25” tall overall, open at top for likely use as match holder. Underside is stamped “Souvenir World’s Exposition Chicago 1893.” Most of luster gone from surface. Fine. Interesting group.
