Item Description
20x30” with gruesome silhouette of soldier dragging away long-haired girl with fire raging in bkg. Art is signed at lower left Ellsworth Young. #6-B the United States Prtg. & Lith. Co. N.Y. Paper has 2 creases where top and bottom margins meet the art but showing very little. There is a centerfold probably as originally issued and a few shorter very ft. horizontal lines showing only in certain light conditions. Graphics are totally clean, however, top has 2” and bottom has 7” pair of vertical tears repaired with archival tape on reverse. A fine white line shows at each repaired tear, however these could be easily professionally touched up to barely show. This classic poster is still in beautiful, clean condition. Needs only the slightest attention to display at least N. Mint.
