c. 1940. 4.75x9-3/8x1.5” deep box contains 9” long cast iron cap pistol with Colt code mark and steer head grips. Box lid has nice graphics of cowboy on horseback atop mountain watching other cowboy herd steers. #285. Box has scattered wear around edges with seam split across top of lid which also has split at upper left corner. Box bottom is worn with split at upper right corner seam. VG. Gun has trace of lt. wear. VF/Exc. Unfired. Nice design.
