c. early 1950s. Holster set made by Keystone Bros. San Francisco. #270. Box is 11-3/16x11-5/16x2” deep with nice graphics on lid of smiling young cowboy pulling dog on leash. Has text at lower left “Keeps ‘Em Happy Healthy And Bizzy.” Box lid has scattered wear overall with 1” bit of surface paper gone at lower left of top and 2.5” bit of paper gone at lower right corner. Left side panel has 1.5” split near seam. .5x1” bit of surface paper gone from lid front panel. VG. Box contains gun belt with 2 holsters including die-cut string tag noting “Made From California Oak Tanned Cowhide Leather By The West’s Largest And Oldest Maker Of Fine Cowboy Equipment.” Belt has full complement of silver accent wood bullets. Cap pistols are each 8.25” long white metal with star code mark on plastic steer head grips. Pistols have st. warp to grips. VF. Holster belt has lt. spotting. Fine. Nicely designed including chrome-finished metal accent pieces on holsters.
