c. WWII. 11-5/8x12.25x2” deep box has nice lid art with cowboy on horseback in foreground watching other cowboy lasso a steer. #A65T. Box lid has scattered wear overall with 1” bit of surface paper gone at lower left of top and 2.5” bit of paper gone at lower right corner. Left side panel has 1.5” split near seam. .5x1” bit of surface paper gone from lid front panel. VG. Contains pair of leather holsters with stamped graphics of cowboy on bucking horse on each. Holsters contain pair of 7.75” long pistols marked “Texan Jr.” with rearing horse code mark and painted steer heads on grips. Holsters have some aging and dust soil, gun belt a bit worn. Would benefit from cleaning. Fine. Guns have trace of lt. wear, most noticeable on grips which have scattered bits of missing paint. Fine/VF. Nicely designed.
