Item Description
Early 1930s. J.W. Spear & Sons. Copyright by Pat Sullivan. Two stencils are needed per image (6 different images in total). Small set has 4 of 6 two-piece stencil sets. Large is complete with all 6. First set has 5-1/8x6-5/8x1” deep thin cardboard box with nice lid graphics of Felix smiling at viewer smoking a pipe. Comes with folded instruction sheet which opens to 7-7/8x9.25” with nice graphics of Felix. Has text “With The Contents Of This Box, Four Of The Following Designs Can Be Stenciled.” Includes classic image of Felix walking. Lid surface is a bit rippled with .25x1” area of very faint discoloration at lower right corner. Stencils have been heavily water colored. Paint brush is missing brush. Sheet has a few tears and lt. creases here and there. Contents Good. Box Fine. Second box is 8.25x8.25x1” deep thin cardboard with nice lid graphics of Felix on wooden scooter. Illustrated instructions are on inside of lid and match smaller set. Complete with all 6 stencils, paint brush, 2 small ceramic paint pallets and stack of sheets which have been stenciled and penciled by user. Lid has trace of lt. dust soil here and there, bit of wear around edges. Fine. Contents are Exc. Wonderful graphics.
