Item Description
Both written by Elsie Jean. 1938 book has actual photo of well-dressed Betty and Bobby with suitcases with art image of Perisphere & Trylon in bkg. 98 pages with illustrations of pavilions as they were not yet finished, so no photos were available. Dust wrapper has lt. to moderate dust soil with scattered tears at corners, back cover of dust wrapper has 2.5” tear at upper left. Good. Book itself is Exc. Second book is sub-titled “A Trip To The New York World’s Fair Of 1940 With Bobby And Betty.” 7x9.25” with dust wrapper which repeats image of Betty and Bobby at lower left but main image is actual photo of Perisphere & Trylon. 128 pages with numerous photos. Dust wrapper is heavily worn around edges. VG front. Good back. Book itself has lt. aging but overall VF. Comprehensive with nice images.
