Item Description
Long box is 2-5/8x9x1” deep with Bakelite bottom and brass top with metal Fair shield at left side. Made by Chase, noted maker of metal Art Deco designed products. Inside has 3 compartments for storage. Scattered lt. surface wear with a few hairline scratches here and there. Fine. Syroco box is 4x5-7/8x1.5” deep with relief images on top of Perisphere and Trylon and side images of different Fair buildings. Syroco wood foil label on underside. Scattered lt. to moderate wear with a few color rubs here and there. Fine. Third box is 3-1/8x4x1-5/8” deep with polychrome lid and Bakelite bottom. Top has nice graphics of “Petroleum Industry Exhibition” building with oil well out front. Surface is a bit yellowed with age with lt. wear around sides and edges. A few scratches here and there. Fine. Nicely designed group.
