Item Description
c. 1930s. 6x6.25” high relief starched linen with smiling image of Charlie with metal monocle on right eye with attached string. Thin cardboard backing brace has been glued in place on reverse for display on wall. Three different painted colored stripes are visible through die-cut openings of mask. When hung these colors show through the openings - blue for eyes, black for nostrils and red for mouth. Trace of lt. aging. Exc. Nicely designed.
