Item Description
Five items. All ©King Features Syndicate Inc. 1929 but c. 1930s. Two tablets are each 3-5/8x5.75”. One has more pages than the other as designed. Different graphics on front and back of each. Includes Popeye looking for his hat, holding spinach gun, throwing punch and walking. Two composition books are from same series. Each is 6-5/8x8-3/8”. Each has art on front and tables for school math on back. One has Popeye gesturing towards Olive Oyl and Sappo, the other shows him looking at Sappo who is crying. Third tablet is Hilroy Series #3720. 7-1/8x9.25” with graphics on front with Popeye bringing angry Olive Oyl flowers. Back cover shows covers of 4 Popeyes available in series as well as covers of 4 Mickey Mouse books available. Trace of lt. aging with some lt. dust soil here and there. A few lt. handling creases. Covers overall Fine to VF, interiors unused, VF to Mint. Great graphics.
