4.75” tall hand-painted figure with movable right arm and wooden pipe in mouth with left arm holding 5.25” long plastic toothbrush with decal of Popeye on handle. Toothbrush made by Lor-Dent Co. ©King Feat. 1929.Toothbrush has scattered aging and lt. wear with a few color rubs. (See Popeye toothbrush on card #2460) Figure made in Japan but distributed by J. Chein & Co. Underside of base has Chein sticker as well as 1932 King Features Syndicate copyright sticker. VG. Bisque figure has trace of lt. dust soil with a few minor color rubs. Fine. Nicely designed. Bright color.
