c. 1940s. Showa, Japan. 5.5” tall overall, 5-3/8” long with built-in key in back of legs. When wound, top of figure bends over and hat moves up and down while metal hammer strikes anvil. Scattered lt. surface wear overall with a few bits of missing paint here and there. Overall VG. Working. Nice design. Scarce.
