4.75x6.5” plush and intricately beaded rayon clasp purse personally owned by silent film actress Lillian Gish. Pink rayon material is elaborately and intricately beaded/embroidered with tiny gold colored metal leaves and beads as well as rhinestones and tiny facsimile pearls. Brass clasp and chain. Purse opened by pressing button at top. Fabric shows moderate wear with small tears by brass closure and at sides. A few leaves/beads have come loose and overall bag displays Fine. Comes with Hake's COA as well as original auction tag from “Profiles In History – Hollywood: A Collector’s Ransom II-6/1 & 2/96.”
