5-1/8x6.75x1.25” deep box contains 2 complete decks of 44 cards. c. 1960s. One deck has illustration of Superman and other card has matching text. We assume game play was to match descriptive text to what Superman/Clark Kent/supporting characters were doing on opposite card though text is in Japanese. Produced exclusively for the Japanese market. Box lid has great Superman illustration of him breaking chains with city in bkg. Surface paper wear at corners though box remains tight. Fine-. Cards are lightly aged but clean and Exc. Scarce. From the Saul Ferris Collection.
