Item Description
Beautifully colored and carved prancing horse c. 1930s made of Bakelite, .25” thick and 2.5” tall by 3” long. Reverse has riveted bar pin with safety clasp. Eight brass studs accent the hooves and twelve outline the harness and neck. At the top of the neck there is a barely visible .25” surface hairline mark alongside the fifth and sixth rivets counting upwards from the bottom. This shows only on the closest inspection. The head is also accented by a yellow glass eye with black pupil. The resin wash produced gorgeous tonal variations. Extremely fine and for practical purposes still displays Mint.
