Item Description
11.25x13.5x1.25” deep box contains Whitman set #4598:100. ©1966 National Periodical Publications, Inc. Batsymbol die-cut window is flanked by Batman and Robin images with “Batman” comic book title logo at top with separate images of Batman and Robin swinging into scene. Set consists of 2 loose bound 8.75x10.75” pages with color-by-number design showing Batman, Robin, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, villain The Penguin as well as Batmobile, Batcave, Batplane and Batman and Robin’s secret identities – Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. Pages have some handling wear with a few tiny tears at margins but are unused and VF/Exc. overall. Set also included “8 Giant Crayons” which remain sealed in original plastic case and are unused. Each has corresponding number to match color-by-number design. Scarce variety and not from the factory purchase by Golden Treasures. Box has 10.25” crease to top of lid but box remains tight and VF.
