Item Description
1x6x12" generic box w/cellophane window holds 6x12" printed heavy cardboard
w/illustrations of Tracy and Junior. The braces in this case are also called
suspenders. Text under suspenders reads "Wear These Braces And Be A Member Of
The Official Dick Tracy Detective Club." One suspender slide has shield-shaped
gold luster finish w/red enamel hat on illustration of Tracy and reads "Dick
Tracy Crimestoppers." Still have elasticity. To right of suspenders is
attached and identified magnifying glass, police badge and whistle. These items
are not identified as official Dick Tracy issue but original to card, therefore,
issued w/suspenders. Color and illustration is bright and clean. c. 1940s.
