Item Description
Each item is a metal case 1.75x2.5” tall by about 3/8” thick. Each has a release tab on the bottom edge which allows the lid to spring open and inside has corners which will hold a cardboard match pack into position. The front of each piece has a tin frame holding a beautifully colored celluloid. The first and second both read “Muriel/Mild-Habana-Blend Cigars” although the coloration and artwork are different on each. The third, which has a larger celluloid insert, reads simply “Muriel.” The celluloid has some near microscopic craze lines but item still displays Exc. This case has a bit of a copper finish while the first two are more a steel gray. Tiny traces of oxidation on the inside of each. A beautiful trio from c. 1920.
