Item Description
1.75” with clear circle of celluloid at center over a bw photo. This is an employee badge sample and it pictures Theron Bastian, a founder of Bastian Bros. The serial number below is “355.” Two pinpoint brown dots on the rim but o/w clean. Reverse has inserted sheet of silver tin which holds the photograph in position. A very early Bastian item and the only example of this I.D. badge we’ve seen. Also see W&H large cello card #602.
