Thirty-three issues. Each is 5.25x7.5” softcover with full color front cover and 32 bw pulp paper pages with front cover repeated on first page in bw. Published by the author Westbrook Co. Cleveland, Ohio. Entered as second class matter at NYC post office March 15, 1899. Most have earlier copyright dates ranging from 1878 to 1889. Vol. 1 numbers are 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11. Vol. 2 numbers are 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26. Vol. 3 numbers are 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 37, 39. Vol. 4 numbers are 42, 44, 46, 51, 52. Vol. 5 numbers are 57, 59, 63. Covers have some lt. dust soil and a few lt. creases here and there. Inside pages are evenly tanned and a bit brittle. Trace of oxidation on staples. Vol. 4, #42 issue is missing .25x3” sliver at right side with 1.5” tear near top. Overall Good/VG. Comes with 1950s folder from “The Dime Novel Club” titled “Facsimile Reprint #28” containing 3 bw dime novel reprints. Lt. aging around edges. Fine. Interesting group. An instant collection.
