Item Description
The 1939 item is a 1-11/16” tall oval portraying female fox hunter with horse and dog. This was issued for “29th Annual Meeting/Oct. 8-14/1939/Scottsburg, Ind.” with initials standing for the group name Southern Indiana And State Fox Hunters Association, Inc. The second item is 1.25” with St. Louis Button Co. backpaper issued for the following year and portraying a fox along with the group’s name and the dates and location of “Oct. 6-12, 1940/Brownstown, Ind.” Extremely rare local issues and the first we’ve seen of either.
