Item Description
1” beautifully colored button although without backpaper. There is just the slightest trace of staining on the left side rim into the bkg. next to the lion’s head. The discoloration is quite minor and blends extremely well. The overall appearance remains quite beautiful. Button is featured in the color plates on page 153 of Collectible Pin-back Buttons. Exceedingly tiny text surrounds the lion and reads “As I Am To The Animal Kingdom, So Is Leader Threshing Machinery In Comparison With Others.” c. 1900.
