Item Description
This 1930s 1-1/8” litho is not very flashy but it is quite interesting. Pictured at center is “Blitzen,” the only time we’ve seen a named reindeer of Santa’s on a button with the exception of Rudolph. Rim text reads “Presented By Santa Claus/For St. Paul Dispatch And Pioneer Press.” The button’s uniqueness comes in the fact that in tiny letters on the reverse curl the top reads “Made In Santa Claus Toy Factory” and on the bottom curl “Icy Cape, Alaska.” St. general wear but Exc. and quite scarce. Second or so we’ve seen.
