Item Description
1.75” shows working man in cap and apron rolling up his sleeves to support and defend the American flag flowing in the bkg. This is the version with dark blue text on a blue rim rather than a yellow rim version of the same size. Complete with W&H backpaper. Tiny pitting of the reverse collet but nothing serious. Extreme rim of button has pair of faint age dots barely showing at all and piece still displays glossy and Exc. See following rare variety of this design. This button comes along with a fragment of its original ribbon which was suspended by the pin and which can still be read as “1918 Labor Day.”
